I missed out on the second Munny show, I wasn't about to miss the third one. It was a hoot. If anyone reading this lives in Orlando/Winter Park, I sure hope you gave it a look. This is my entry for this event, Stanzenkonig B.L.A.I.N.E. Roughly translated, stanzenkonig is "King of Perforation", and you can clearly see why. This guy is armed to the teeth!

Painting is not my strong point, so to make my entry stand out this time around, I took a whole new approach. I wanted to remind everyone that despite hip and artsy rep vinyl toys have gained in the last few years, they're still toys. With parts lifted from Star Wars, GI Joe, and Sigma 6 toys, I spliced together or monster of diminuitive proportions.

The head opens up to reveal a lit cockpit and a customized Microman figure I made few months ago, the battery back in his back is removable so you can change out the batteries, and the jetpack is magnetized for easy access. The wings on the pack are poseable, and feature deployable bombs

The gatlin gun can be swiveled on the wrist to adjust for the Munny's somewhat limited poseability. My real pride and joy came from the mock H-Arms-like chest that opens up and reveals 2 laser batteries.

The whole thing was spray painted using Krylon spray paints, additional details were hand painted on. Total work time was 15 hours, most of it the day before the deadline >_>

I talked to Steve about this. I had handed mine in when he was starting to take pictures, so for poops and giggles, he started taking pictures with mine. Since I was still at the store, I told him to send it before he forgot and spent another 8 months trying to hook me up with an official pic from him. That's why mine exists.

Apparently, shortly after the show finished his hard drive took a hit, and he lost ALL the pics he had taken. He's actually asking me to send him back a copy of the pic, so I imagine the loss was pretty bad. He did tell me though that he's going to work on retaking pics of the entries before sending them back to their respective owners.
